Dan Ward Yoga School
DAN WARD YOGA SCHOOL:
ADVANCED YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
10/17/25- 11/23/25
-
DESCRIPTION
Have the courage to take on the Tapas of study. Light the sacrificial flame and endure the pain of discipline to produce hard-earned results. Is it possible you can also have fun at the same time?
Perhaps you’ve completed your initial 200 hour teacher training but haven’t been able to practice teaching enough to gain the confidence necessary to share your teaching to the public. Or maybe you do have that one class (or a few) but are stuck somehow, looking for inspiration; insight to feed your offerings. Then this training is for you.
Learn to inspire students to raise their level of concern over their own improvement in the practice. This is teaching personal growth.
A yoga class is a journey through community into ourselves. All facilitated by a TEACHER. Someone who can galvanize disparate energies and support each individual’s unique process. A great yoga class can make life make sense again.
This training aims to leave you teaching not just a competent yoga class, but a great one. A class that aspires to do no less than transform lives and reclaim hope for us all.

Meet Dan Ward
Dan leads classes that are slow, deliberate and precise. They prioritize learning. They fulfill the promise of yoga sutra 2.46 Sthira sukham asanam which challenges us to create steadiness and ease in yoga posture. With only silence and breath as soundtrack, Dan brings over 30 years of yoga experience to bear on the art form that is the modern vinyasa yoga class.
His manner is disarming and will bring a smile to your face as you develop the skill set to experience the poses with intelligence and depth. Dan offers his uniquely insightful perspective on yoga to all students ready to learn and who are interested in the work via classes, private sessions, workshops, retreats, and teacher trainings.
He makes his home in Venice with his wife and daughters.
